Schezwan Paneer Sliders Recipe Ingredients:

For the paneer marinade:

  • 200 grams of paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp of Schezwan sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste

For the Sliders:

  • 6 slider buns or a mini burger
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of Schezwan sauce
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Butter

How to Make Schezwan Paneer Sliders?

Marinate the paneer.

  • Combine Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vegetable oil, and ginger-garlic paste in a mixing bowl.
  • Add some salt to taste, and mix well until everything combines.
  • Add the paneer cubes, toss, and marinate well.
  • Let it sit for at least 20 minutes.

Cook the paneer.

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Add the marinated spicy paneer cubes.
  • Cook until golden brown and slightly crispy on all sides.
  • Cook for about 5–7 minutes and set aside.

Prepare the slides:

  • Add mayonnaise and Schezwan sauce in a small bowl and mix well.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and toast them on a pan.
  • Spread some butter on the bun and toast until golden brown.

Assemble the sliders:

  • Spread a layer of the spicy mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  • Place a lettuce on the bottom half of the bun.
  • Add a few slices of onion and tomato.
  • Place the cooked paneer.
  • Cover the top half of the bun.

Serve:

  • Serve the Schezwan Paneer Sliders hot with extra sauce.
